* Acceptable illumination intensity for laboratory is 300 Lux.

* Check the illumination once in every 3 months.

* Flammable Solvent: Capable of burning

* Hazardous chemicals: Which are intrinsically dangerous

* Fume generating chemicals: Concentrated HCl, HNO3

* For protection of eyes wear Safety goggles.

* For protection from hazardous skin contacts wear chemical resistant gloves.

* Heat resistant gloves: for handing hot objects

* Fuming agent: A gas or vapour that is strong-smelling or dangerous to inhale.

* Examples of fuming agent and hazardous chemicals: Conc. Acid, volatile organic, kearl fischer reagent, diethyl ether

* Protective shoes with covered toes and non-slippery sole

* Good housekeeping practices
